This section will cover several general methods and techniques that are needed for advanced QTP usages. These will vary from VBScript coding tips and QTP object-recognition methods, to object-oriented design patterns.

This section is meant to be more abstract and general than specific environment techniques and workarounds, but in my opinion it can make a much greater impact on your abilities as a QTP programmer.

Don’t worry if the examples and code-snippets seem like an over-kill at first; as you’ll progress and combine different methods, you’ll see that sometimes the elaborate way is better than the straight forward way (and I emphasize - sometimes).
