Hello,
My team examines the new automation feature in the TFS 2010 - Coded UI Test.
We think about leaving QTP   and start to use this tool.

Is there any one who use this tool?
What are the disadvantages of this tool compared to QTP?
What can QTP do that this tool couldn't?

Any sort of data about this tool and some other conclusions will be help me.

Thanks.

VSTS 2010 is still a Release Candidate and Coded UI test is new feature getting implemented in it.

I used webtesting and load testing part of VSTS 2008. You have to do coding entirely in C# or dotnet framework supported language.

I would suggest switching to VSTS 2010 after sometime is better than doing it now.

But for web testing (without flash apps) I prefer Visual Studio Test Edition with Selenium or Watin or WebAii (ArtOfTest) frameworks, which proved to be good use for me.
