Hi,
1. TYPE OF AUT :- WEB
2. TECHGY : JAVA
3. QTP VERSION : 9.2
4. ADDINS :WEB
5. PROBLEM:-
I have recorded a test with more than 30 different actions in it. I still tried recording new actions and QTP was not able to record due to low memory space and I stopped it, so i want to revert back to the last saved setting. But when i tried to open the test i am getting an error "Unexpected File Format" and my whole test seems to have lost. It was my three days work !!! is there any possibility to get atleast a few recorded actions back.
Kindly help me out

Try opening the separate .mts files within the sub-directories of the test directory.
These files should contain the actual test script.
At least it won't be a total lost...

Hi,
You can get all the recorded scripts back.
1. Go to the Test Folder.
2. Corresponding to ur each action there will be one action folder in ur Test Folder.
3. Ur each action folder contains a file name "Script.mts". This is ur recorded script corresponding to that action.
In order to make it work again. U have to do following task.
1. Createa a new test.
2. make as many blank action as u made previously .
3. Copy the script corresponding to each action respectively that u have get from ur previous test.
3. Now you have to add objects manually in objectRepository according to ur action script requirement.
This will save ur logical efforts as well some time.
