Hi Dani,

I was wondering whether we can run the QTP test scripts in TD or QC on the machine which does not have license for QTP but has license for only Test Director or Quality Center.

Thanks

No, it's not possible.
TD/QC is able to launch QTP on a client machine that has QTP installed (which is possible only with a valid license).
It's possible, though, to ask TD/QC to launch QTP on a host machine OTHER than the one on which TD/QC is being used, thanks to the Remote Agent component.

Please also note that installing and using QTP in a way differing from what HP/Mercury prescribes is illegal. So even if someone finds a way to do what you're asking - it's absolutely illegal.
