Sounds good. I originally began automated testing on Rational Robot, where EVERYTHING is DP. It’s all code.
Of course you’re using the robot recognition engine, just as you’re using the QTP recognition engine.
However, why limit yourself to QTP recognition? Do you support other engines, and native recongition, such as Windows and Java accessibility interfaces?
Know things are tough now to consider this topic, but it maybe will keep your mind of the Gaza situation.

LB

Thanks for your kind words.
As a matter of fact, the framework is truly generic, and requires only to implement very simple interfaces to make it work. The framework doesn’t care about the underlying recognition interfaces, since it executes business executable components. In a sense, it is a light-weight version of HP BPT, without the fireworks… but making things work on time and with high quality and performance.

Quite promising! I look forward to its general availability of My System.
I had initiated something similar two years back but due to lack of resources (focus has been delivery), I could not complete.
I hope, it would be possible to build specialized layers on top of framework

Impressive plan, Meir!
Several years ago I created test report format in XML rendered in DHTML through XSL and Java script. It is accompanied by XSD for validation and XSLT for automated generation of the HTML.
I think it might be useful to your development. Would you like me to share it with you?

Thanks for your kind words, Dragomir
Actually it’s already more mature than a plan, as the presentation states that the framework is being used at XIV (an IBM company) where I’m providing consultancy, and at SuperDerivatives.
However, I’d be delighted to see your reporting solution (My System’s report is XML with XSL, with embedded links to see snapshots of the Desktop in case of errors). I’m very interested in taking a look at it.
Best Regards,
Meir

We all know there are many frameworks in the market, that’s not new.
So, Henry, what’s your point?
