Congratulations to Dani Vainstein, co-founder and CEO of SOLMAR Knowledge Networks who won the joint Israeli ITCB & SIGIST 2008 Testing Excellence Award (see pictures below) for his Flight Reservation (FR) Project. The award committee indicated that for Dani "excellence is a habit", and voted for his FR (Flight Reservation) project as a proof of Dani’s leadership in the field of testing automation and his care for empowering the automation community. To remind you, the FR Project was an educational project aiming at giving an opportunity to first steppers to learn online the basics of testing automation, and for free. Though the project officially ended more than six months ago, the FR Project Forum is still available and new members still keep joining in. |

The award was given to Dani yesterday, November 17th, in a ceremony held during the SIGIST conference at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Tel-Aviv. Mr. Yaron Tsuberi, ITCB President and member of the Award Committee, indicated that many might say they read books on testing, but Dani can be proud of being one of very few that actually have written a book on testing automation - Scripting Quicktest Professional, which was also a candidate to the award.
In fact, AdvancedQTP had two out of the three final nominees to the award! We at www.AdvancedQTP are proud of this achievement and thank the distinguished Award Committee members for the trust and appreciation reflected by their decision. We intend to continue being committed to professionalism and excellence and to contribute to the automation community. On this special occasion, we wish to express our gratitude to the people that made this extraordinary project possible. First, we wish to thank the hundreds of novices who participated in the project with a strong will to become automation professionals. Second, but not least, we wish to thank all the members of the international Project Team who contributed to making this endeavor such a success story. Special thanks to Monika Arora Gautam, who assisted Dani as Project Manager. |
