I am Meir Bar-Tal, a freelance automation architect and developer. I provide professional services, and also develop plug-ins and extensions with and for HP Quicktest Professional. I work in close cooperation with HP SW R&D and also act as reviewer for leading authors like Tarun Lalwani and Anshoo Arora.
In 2007 I was co-founder of this site, www.advancedqtp.com, and since then acted as Editor-in-Chief and Forums Admin. I am its sole owner since 2011.
My mission statement is to assist customers to leverage their testing capacity to improve product quality with reliable and maintainable test automation. Through this site I deliver the fruits of my experience for the benefit of the automation community members, whether advanced or novice. Whilst most of the contents published on this site are free and public, some are solely for Premium (paid) users, who consistently support my mission and help me cover the operational costs of this site.
My services include consultancy and integration, development of frameworks, extensibility packages and project management, as well as training and coaching. I specialize in developing test automation with rigorous standards and best practices mainly with HP Quicktest Professional and additional tools (AutoIt, Test Complete).
